A "Bastide" is a typical Provencal manor where we will be pleased to accommodate you as our guests. We are no hotel but a private guest house offering both spacious, luxury and charming bed & breakfast bedrooms ("Chambre d'hôtes") and self-catering studios ("Gîte").

Our village Bras lies centrally between Aix-en-Provence, Marseilles and Nice, about 10 km North of Saint-Maximin-La-Sainte-Baume, amidst a splendid scenery of forests, vineyards and olive fields, halfway between the Verdon gorges and the Mediterranean Sea. From here, you can easily reach within exciting day trips Provence's most famous sights like the breathtaking Verdon Canyon, the majestic limestone massifs of Luberon, Sainte-Victoire and Sainte-Baume, the glittering beaches of the French Riviera and the Mediterranean Sea, the magnificent rocky bays ("Calanques") of Marseilles and Cassis or the vibrant markets, festivals, concerts and exhibitions of Aix-en-Provence.
